jus came back from hk....eating.... shopping... watching anti-WTO protests by militant Koreans....the flight there was not so gd... cathay turned out worse than i thought.... seat was not so good, food tray was darn dirty... can u imagine when u get to the gate and see ur plane not there yet???went to shop, eat, at the Peak area and near the hotel.... stuff there is more ex than in singapore lor.... everything is damn crammed lor... but food is how much better than here...This time round HK is cold and windy... especially on the Peak. found nothing to eat so went to mac to enjoy the cold wind and nice scenery...day two... HK Disneyland!!! took S$6 MTR ride to the Disneyland station, along the way meeting with some Korean protestors outside the station.... it was darn small lor.... only got like 3-4 good rides there... but it was a good (but ex) experience.... and the parade was weird, with all ur familar disney songs in cantonese.... 60% of the tourists there are from mainland China lor... looks like they think that disneyland is some theme park in beijing... in fact, our hotel is full of china tourists, the whole of HK is...day3 - went to the outlying islands... fun run up and down the hills from one village to another...went to stanley market to shop but found nothing, at the bus stop, found out that police have closed the convention centre area due to fighting between Korean protestors and police.... had to wait 45 minutes for the bus, 45 minutes to get to Chai Wan, the eastern end of HK island, and take the MTR to kowloon area... go back and see police fighting with protestors...haiz...what an eventful trip lor... but i nvr want to stay in HK...property is like f**king expensive....cathay still cannot fight with SIA lor... duh...i've improved in my canto a bit lor... the phrase i picked up is...qien mun kao gun che munqing bu yao kao jin che men...please stand back from the doors...haha
