this is kinda shamless but i need to let all you pple reading this blog why you should vote for me yeh...Firstly i think it's time for me to do something for all of us pple who pass through these rusting gates every morning. I didn't become a prefect in sec 3 cos i didn't want to bother myself with these stuff and basically, i was kinda lazy lah... So now, as i grown out of the slack mode, i believe it's my time to stand up.I know many of you have many complains and all against the system now. Many of you don't like the timetable. Some of you are not happy and kinda cynical about the uses of a student council and all. Some of you think that most people run to be famous, to be popular and all. But i can tell you, we are not here to be popular or what. We are here to help.You can be assured that if you put me in the council, i will work my socks (literarily) off for all of you. This might sound cliched or whatever, but i will truly BE YOUR VOICE!!! Some of you may not like to directly talk to higher authority about matters that concern your welfare and your 2 years in this school. Voice it to me, and i will do my darnest to get those matters addressed to the best of the council's ability. You need someone in the council who will really push for your benefit, your welfare, who will get things done in YOUR interest.Why do i emphasize YOU? Well, i firmly believe that a council should stand for YOUR interest, not ours. A student council is meant to be amongst the students, to help the students.As a brand-new council, i hope to start a new image, a new identity, something we can be proud of and look back with pride. It's not bout copying what others have done, if we do that than we will not be able to relate to it. It's about being different, being new, cultivating the ACSpirit in all of us!Well maybe it's too late to change your opinions and all, but i hope that you will vote with your heads. If you want a new identity, a strong voice to represent yourselves, then vote me (Jon Low) for your new council. Make this school a place you really want to be in!ok that's the end, if you wanna flame me or something, pls add to my tag yeh... thx....ok back to my life..ending school later and later..tomorrow have OEP shopping trip..and the campaign ends tmr.. gotta clear up and all, plus remove my smudged banner... hahaso vote me for a better school!! thanks all...
