he jumped off the plane, clinging to the ropes that held his fragile body to his chute, with kraut AA gunners picking off targets descending from heaven.
'What the hell was i thinking?' he muttered to himself, something that he said both truthfully and jestfully ever since he joined the AIrborne.

ats wading ashore' he continued reminding himself as his feet approached the muddy ground.

He pulled off his chute and felt for his M1.
for a moment he thought he lost his arm, but actually he lost his rifle.
another bloody obstacle no one up there thought off.
feeling his way through the bushes, he spotted an MG42 nest. suddenly, a major popped out from behind him.
'OK corporal, you take these three guys and move that side, i'll take these rest and go behind that river to flank that position.'
'but sir, there's a MG42 team there! we'll get busted!'
'no, that's a decoy team.'
'no it's not'
'it's an order, corporal! move out!' and he disappeared behind the bushes
He sighed. 'Let's go guys!'
as soon as he moved out...
no MacBook, no US holiday, instead a get a old laptop and my sis gets the MacBook.

This hiatus lasted 1 week, it must last longer
Yet i have this weird feeling, that i might just be OK this time around.

went to the new jap restaurant at clementi with chowzy, kd and wang today. i think the owners must have liked us enough to give us a free plate of fried fish. pretty good food, so swing by there if you've got time! (which you should not have anyway)
crap i'm contridicting myself.
but our life is full of contradictions, even how much we try to avoid it.
Knights, chivarly and meaningless pillaging of the countryside.
knowledge is good, knowledge used at the wrong time can be irritating at best, destructive at worst.
just look at those nazi scientists.
studying has been pretty ok, maths is good, the rest pretty ok but not much in confidence.
just look at the mids.
i'm pretty confused now.

been listening a lot of snow patrol lately, the lyrics of 'Chasing Cars' maybe reflect me now.
It's uncanny that music actually best reflects the human life.

Day one of the end.
the start of term 4 never is good, cause it means 3 weeks to the exams. and that is never good. well, time to start hitting the books again. i mean literarily.
hit the books! hit your super-sized physics TYSes to get a bonus!
as someone said to me, ours is more whacking everything and hoping for the best, unlike others who know what to whack.

back from hike!haha super long journey, thanfully our group only got lost three times, but twice at the last checkpoint. instead of d5 in the middle of seletar base, we ended up at d11, seletar airport...haha choing lah...sleeping point was outside the jalan kayu roti prata shop. while we were cooking whatever noodles we had (and testing the sec 2's food, which was not too bad i think). why would SMRT build an LRT station without a stupid toilet is beyond me.strike pitch strike pitch strike pitch like 7 times cos one pair couldn't get their basha rite.second day.major incentive. complete 8 checkpoints by lunch, and we go to hougang for makan.wah u never see 4 exhausted, abrased sec 2's go faster.last checkpoint, punggol mrt was like 600m infront of us. then kena TPE.so we force march them all the way there. well but hougang proved to have a lot of surprises!took the long 74 back to ac, when we got on, we were the only ones. when we got off, we were also the only ones.begs wonder?
